Frictionless Parking Enforcement is Asura Technologies’ take on barrier- and touchless parking enforcement automation using ALPR and video analytics technology as the core. The solution registers vehicles entering and leaving the parking compound and automatically matches the length of the stay with payment data, thus providing a precise and comprehensive alternative to manual parking enforcement. Current integrations for payment checks include T2, Designa, PayByPhone, Text2Park and are continuously expanded.
In case there is overstay or no payment for a vehicle, owner data are automatically retrieved from the local vehicle database (DMV in the US) using the license plate number as reference. Once the owner data is retrieved, a citation is automatically generated in print and/or post-ready format.
The solution is designed to be easily integrated into any parking operation and even though does not require barriers; it has the capability to operate barriers automatically based on custom rule sets. Frictionless parking enforcement is ideal for off-street car parks and garages, where owners do not want to install barriers or investing in a parking management system, is simply too costly.

In jurisdictions, where vehicle owner information is available online and is accessible by law, the system automatically queries the local vehicle database for the vehicle owner and generates a citation, to be sent to the owner

We supply the ALPR-based automatic parking enforcement system monitoring off-street parking sites 24/7 while our partner provides parking fine collection services. Since the start the number if frictionless enforcement sites is constantly growing, currently we are monitoring over 15 000 parking spaces all over the US and the number keeps on growing.
